Research is conducted in pre-paid blocks of time. This ensures you receive a focused, comprehensive result without unexpected costs.
A non-refundable retainer equal to the package price is required before work begins. This secures your spot in my research schedule and ensures I can dedicate the full time to your project without administrative interruptions. There is no cost to being on the waiting list.

Best for: Specific research questions, initial assessments, testing a theory or starting a new line of research.

How We Work Together
1. The Consultation: We start with a free 15-minute call to discuss your research problem. We define a specific, realistic goal for the first research block.

2. The Agreement: I send you a Client Agreement outlining the goal. Once the retainer is paid, your project is added to my active research schedule.

3. The Investigation: I get to work. This involves analyzing archives, translating foreign records, or mapping DNA matches. I handle the heavy lifting while keeping you informed.

4. The Reveal: You receive a professional research report detailing everything I found (and didn't find), along with digital copies of the records and a plan for what to do next.
